Video: Sand in skate parks proves irritating

To ensure social distancing in the COVID-19 pandemic, some skate parks were closed with fences, some were "beached" with sand. Others remained open and paint a picture of cooperation between council and community. Skate parks are expensive to repair and are often maintained through community fundraising. They may be concrete, but even the toughest of materials have their weak spots.
